The blue filters are not true hepa filters and use a different set of techniques to remove the pollutants from your home's air. Let us take a look at what the main differences are.

The term hepa is an acronym that means High Efficiency Particulate Air. These types of filters are the top in the industry because they remove up to 99.97% of all known pollutants from the air in your home. They are very effective of removing pollen, dust particles, dust mites, cat dander, skin, rag weed, some viruses, mold and bacteria.

If you suffer from allergies, and especially asthma, I recommend that your get a Air filter or air purifier that uses the hepa filter. Indoor air is usually more contaminated than out door air and that is because we have build our modern houses to never see the light or air of day.
